In 2011 House of Magnolias began with flowers, and a deep respect for how space makes people feel.
Over the last 14 years, floral design expanded naturally into event design, production, and planning, allowing us to shape celebrations holistically, from the first stem to the final moment. Our work is guided by emotion, texture, and intention . We love creating environments that feel grounded, layered, and emotionally present.
We believe the most meaningful weddings are not overdesigned, but thoughtfully held. Through trusted partnerships with planners who share our ethos, we create ease for our couples and space for what matters most: connection, memory, and presence.
In 2018, House of Magnolias began working internationally in Australia. In 2026, we expand into destination weddings across Europe, with our home base in France & California.

The Owner, Kayla MoNTALVO
Born in California and trained in design, Kayla Montalvo approaches her work with care and compassion. Each project is guided by attentiveness, collaboration, and respect for the people within it.
Kayla has over 14 years of experience, both as the owner of HOM and collaborating with some of largest luxury designers globally.
Now based in Paris, with a studio just beyond the city, Kayla continues to work as the owner of HOM, designer, and artist — creating environments that feel grounded, thoughtful, and deeply human.

Our Team
We work with planners & designers globally. Our home base for most of the team is Los Angles & Paris. Collectively we speak - English (all), French, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese.
